Why we love our vegan energy balls
About our vegan energy balls
Exotic and exciting, nopal cactus is a beloved traditional Mexican food used in all kinds of dishes. It boasts plenty of fibre, calcium, magnesium and flavonoids – phytonutrients that help our bodies fight oxidative stress.
To make our vegan Energy Balls, we start from a base of natural sweetness with apricot and raisin. Then, we add Jersualem artichoke, which is rich in prebiotic inulin fibre, iron and thiamine (vitamin B1) to support the nervous system. Filling, and with an addictive fruity flavour, they make the perfect pick-me-up whenever you need a boost of energy.
Our vegan Energy Balls are also low GI and provide a steady flow of energy to power your day, making them an ideal pre-workout snack.
Sustainably sourced.
- Our organic nopal cactus is grown in Mexico. It is hand-picked by small organic farmers and shipped to us to turn into our yummy Energy Balls.
- We add our nopal cactus to our Energy Ball recipe, which is made using activated sunflower and pumpkin seeds to help release their nutrients.
- Then, we hand-make our Energy Balls in small batches using a ‘raw’ process, which never exposes the ingredients to temperatures above 42ºC.
- We pack them into environmentally-friendly packaging and ship them to you, to enjoy at home.

REALLY MOIST & NATURALLY SWEET!
These are so moist and taste amazing! I often find energy balls taste quite dry and are hard in texture whereas these are the complete opposite! The ingredient combination is genius! I never thought I would be having Jerusalam artichoke in an energy ball. A simple and clean ingredients list, perfect for those conscious foodies.

a pleasant surprise!
cactus and artichoke is definitely an unusual sounding snack combination but i was pleasantly surprised by these! They just taste sweet and fruity (mostly apricot vibes) with seeds in there for added crunch against the lovely chewy texture! Two generous sized bites making for the perfect snack when you just want a little nibble to keep you going

An exciting flavour combination!
At first, the Nopal Cactus flavour might scare you to try these energy balls, it’s definitely not an ordinary flavour combo!!
However, I was pleasantly surprised when I gave them a try. They are naturally sweet and they taste like a nutty-apricotty sweet treat. They are packed with nutrients but the best thing is that you don’t have to compromise on flavour, they are naturally delicious.
