We scour the world looking for the best ingredients to nourish our bodies and minds. It’s a journey that has led us from India to Romania, Finland to Italy. And we’re still looking!
Our criteria when sourcing a new product is always the same. It has to be very nutritious and have a long history of supporting human health, whether that be in traditional medicines such as TCM and Ayurveda or through scientific discovery. (Very often, it’s both.)
Next, it has to come from an independent organic farm which shares our values of sustainability and ethics.
We’ve turned down farms that didn’t match our high standards in this area, regardless of how good the product was. Our investment in sustainability is simply part of who we are.

We started Erbology with the vision of bringing organic health foods to a wide audience, and bringing together ancient wisdom and modern science.
Five years on, we’re still as enthusiastic about those goals as ever. But, along the way, we’ve developed new ambitions as well. Like looking after the planet in everything we do, and making sure our business model meets the criteria laid out by the three pillars of sustainability.
