To bring a bit of spice to the dish, add a dash of hot chilli sauce on top. If you’re not a fan, you can always skip this step!

Moving on to the tofu, we recommend using a firm or extra-firm variety in your avocado sandwich recipes. This will ensure that it retains its shape and texture. Here's how you make it

  1. To make the avocado paste, add peeled avocado in a bowl together with salt, black pepper and lemon. Mash using a fork, until creamy. 
  2. Add the walnut oil and mix to combine.
  3. To assemble the sandwich, layer the bread with avocado paste, hot sauce, tofu, yellow pepper, cucumber and salad. Enjoy!
