Directions

With its gentle nutty flavour, sweet almond oil is very versatile, perfect for sweet or savoury dishes, salad dressing or baking. Take one tbsp per day.

Additionally, apply a small amount to skin at night to moisturise and soften the skin. Sweet almond oil is quickly absorbed and will not leave a greasy residue. It is used in many skincare products. 

Store in a cool, dark place. 

Apple bread with sweet almond oil

First, preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease and flour a 4×8-inch loaf pan. Then, in a large bowl, stir to combine 2 cups spelt flour, 1 cup coconut sugar, 1 tbsp baking powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder and a pinch of salt. Add in 2 tsp Erbology Organic Sweet Almond Oil, 1 cup apple sauce, 1 tsp lemon zest, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 2 cups sweetened almond milk.

Finally, pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and garnish with 3 sliced dates and 1 tsp crushed almonds. Bake for 20-30 mins and let cool before slicing. Enjoy!
