Despite the name, buckwheat is not a wheat. It’s a seed rich in complex carbohydrates and a unique composition of amino acids. Also, it’s a source of minerals and vitamins, such as magnesium, iron and vitamin B-6.

We love discovering and playing with unusual flavours. The Tkemali sauce comes from the traditional Georgian cuisine. Made from fresh cherry plums, Tkemali is tart on its own but pairs perfectly to create a unique savoury flavour.

These buckwheat crackers are incredibly satisfying. They pack not only lots of flavour, but also health benefits. Enjoy them plain, dip or crumble on top of soups or salads. 

Herbed vegan cheese recipe

First, soak 2 cups of raw cashews for at least 2-3 hours, then drain and keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you are ready to prepare the dip.

Place the cashews, 1 tsp salt, 1/3 cup lemon juice and 1/2 cup water in a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Start with less water, as it is easier to add more if you would like it more runny. Add a generous pinch of black pepper and 1/4 cup Erbology Organic Chia Seed Oil and blend again.

Finally, take out your mixture and place into a bowl, stir in 3 tbsp chopped sage dill and parsley. Serve with Erbology Organic Tkemali Crackers.
