Foods for glowing skin

We’re all on a quest for healthy, glowing skin, and working with your diet can be a great way to help you achieve it.

What are antioxidants?

 

These special compounds fight free radicals in the body, which could otherwise cause cell damage and ageing.

Fresh fruit and vegetables contain plenty of antioxidants.

For example, our aronia berry juice, powder and dried berries all contain anthocyanins, special pigments which give the berry its purple color. However, they also act as antioxidants, helping you on your way to glowing skin!

Foods for healthy hair

Both your skin and hair can benefit from a diet rich in vitamin E. You can find this vitamin (which is also an antioxidant) in a range of natural foods, such as almonds, hemp seeds and sunflower seeds.

So, a great option for healthy hair is to snack on a handful of our Raw Organic Italian Almonds, or try our Organic Crackers. These are made with a base of sunflower and linseeds.

We also love to use cold-pressed plant oils as nourishing hair treatments. Try smoothing a little of our Organic Almond Oil over your strands after washing and drying, or use a small amount to tame your curls.
