Ice pop recipe with fresh fruit and granola

These ice pops are among the foods that are always in our freezer. They're easy to make and are the perfect pick-me-up on a hot day, or a day when the sun is shining through the window and the rays are just warm enough that you can pretend it's summer. If you have children always clamouring for ice cream and sweets, mastering this recipe is even more a necessity for you! There are few things more revitalising and bright-tasting than coconut milk. Blend with bananas for body, then add in just a touch of healthful sweetness and beautifully abundant vanilla. Of course, like most everything else in life, these ice pops need a pinch of salt, too.

These simple tortilla rolls were real nice to add to that array. Sweet potatoes and the tortilla wrapping are healthy starches and give bulk to the lighter ingredients. Today the selection of tortillas on offer in most food stores is dizzying. Depending on your palate, you could opt for a flavoured flour tortilla, while traditional Mexican corn tortillas would bring texture and substance. We’re even tempted to try these toppings on a Venezuelan or Colombian arepa pancake, or an El Salvadoran pupusa – but then it wouldn’t be a wrap anymore! Tortilla with chia powder

Ginger smoothie recipe with orange

Ginger possesses one of the most vigorous, persuasive flavours known to man. Fiery and purifying, ginger is a staple in such a beautiful variety of cuisines across the world. For instance, consider ginger snaps and gingerbread men in the UK and USA, to its ubiquitous presence in a mind-boggling breadth of Asian dishes across that continent, to the Lebanese 'Seven Spice' mix of ginger, allspice, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, fenugreek, and nutmeg. In addition, variations on ginger tea are of course drunk in many places in the world.
