I heard that soaking tigernuts helps soften them. Are there any other benefits?

3 years agoUpdated

Research shows that germinating tigernuts may help increase their capacity to combat toxic free radicals within the body.

Another benefit is that soaking may help reduce the antinutrients in tigernuts. Antinutrients are compounds that make it more difficult for your body to absorb all the goodness in tigernuts.

We thought chewiness and softness was already good enough, but this possible bonus just makes soaking our tigernuts seem even more attractive!
