If you want to get even more creative, try using herbal water in your favourite food recipes. The only limit is your imagination, although some flavours may lend themselves better to certain dishes and pairings. For instance, the delicate floral taste of rose water works well in desserts, while rosemary water might be a more natural choice for savoury options. The best part is that you only need two or three tablespoons to infuse a meal with fragrance and flavour.

Want some culinary inspiration? Rose water makes a beautiful addition to cheesecake filling, while lavender water tastes amazing in homemade jams and ice cream. Both are also good choices for stirring into cookie mix before baking.
